1. Who we are

2. What this site does

This site provides free, statistical property price estimates for Johor, Malaysia, computed from publicly available NAPIC open transaction data. Property details you type in are processed to compute an estimate and are not used to identify you.

3. Personal data we collect

• We do not require an account and do not ask for your name, email, or identity documents.
• Technical logs: our hosting providers automatically record standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and abuse prevention. We do not maintain our own database of visitor logs.
• Queries: property descriptions you enter are processed to produce the estimate. Place names from queries may be cached to speed up the service; this cache contains no visitor identity. Do not enter personal information you do not wish to share.

4. Cookies and advertising (Google AdSense)

• This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use advertising cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings (this link manages your own Google ad preferences), and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• We use a small localStorage entry to remember that you have seen the cookie notice.
• We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookie-free analytics service, to count visits and page views. It does not track you across sites.

5. Legal basis and PDPA

We process the limited data above to operate and secure the service and, with your awareness via the cookie notice, to display advertising that funds the free service. Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia), you may contact us at [email protected] with questions about data relating to you.

6. Third-party services

• Site hosting and CDN: Cloudflare Pages.
• Application hosting: Streamlit Community Cloud.
• Map tiles and geocoding: OpenStreetMap / Nominatim (© OpenStreetMap contributors). Address text you enter may be sent to the geocoding service to locate it on the map.
• Transaction data: NAPIC (JPPH Malaysia) open data.
• Advertising: Google AdSense. Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics.

7. Data retention

We do not operate our own visitor database. Technical access logs are retained by our hosting providers (Cloudflare, Streamlit) for short periods under their own policies and are then deleted. Query place-name caches contain no personal identifiers and are kept only to operate and improve the service.

We may update this policy; the latest version is always at this page.
